12.04.2019 (Week 2)

Todays class began with an introduction to sound editing fundamentals. The lecturer introduction to Adobe Audition, which is the software we will be using for sound production throughout the semester. We were given a brief about the basic tools and tricks of Adobe Audition before we started working on it. Here are some of the key terms on Adobe Audition we learned today:

- Equalizer: manipulating bass, frequency and quality

- Reverb: Manipulating sound to environment

Week 2 
12.04.2019 (Week 2)

Our first task for this weeks class was manipulating sound file to match the original sound clip to 3 other versions of the same music clip and also editing sound to create the idea of different environments. We were taught on how to do this before moving on to our exercise. The lecturer showed and guided us step by step. We started off with using the Equalizer to manipulate the bass, frequency and quality of the sound. This technique was used in the process shown below.

After completing the 3 samples. We were asked to create the sound effect for the 3 different environment, telephone conversation, bathroom and stadium. Below are my process and final work.

Week 4

26.04.2019 (Week 4)

For Sound production we had to use layering, pitch shift and stretch and create a monster voice and also fix a punch sound file into a 3 punch sound clip.

10.05.2019 (Week 6)

This week we worked on manipulating sound and creating the iron man repulsor blast. Mr.Razif gave us a short clip and asked us to create the sound of repulsor blast and match the video clip.
