WORK

Week 9
This week we were briefed on our project 2, where we have to create a food packaging label for a new product that Taylors Food science students created and groups were formed, my teammate was Feryn Juliesta. From food science we teamed up with  We were given introductions to our products and we started our work right away. Next week we would be meeting with the Food science students and have our first client meeting to figure out what they like and what was expected from the design. Below are the details of the product we are gonna be working with.

After our briefing, we went and looked at existing packaging and below are some of the references.

Week 10
This week we met with the food science students we will be collaborating with for the project. Below are the notes we made during the meeting.

Notes From Meeting
After getting the idea of what they liked, we clarified on how the product looks like, since we wanted the actual colour to compliment the packaging and label. Below is the video of the product .

After the meeting we worked worked on brand name and logo before moving on to creating the label.
The options for our brand name are: Mungo, Munger, Prouse, Sprate, Grover, Satic, Mealad, Nbean, Sprop, Smung

Below are the processes of logo creation.

After looking at our final outcome, Mr.Shamsul suggested making the material glass and also a bit different shape of the packaging. We looked for what was available and could not get any glass jars shaped the way we needed. With the advice from Mr.Shamsul we decided to go with bottle which would be more convenient for the final outcome mockup since we had to present the final look at the exhibition and the outcome has to be the final look and presentable. Below are our new work processes.

We started with creating a pattern to replicate in all our merchandise for final project as well. The pattern also was introduced to create a modern label which the food science students wanted us to create.
